| Descrizione: | AIDSinfo offers the latest information on HIV/AIDS clinical research, treatment and prevention, and medical practice guidelines for health care providers. | | Recensione: | AIDSinfo is a U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) project providing information on HIV/AIDS clinical trials and treatment.
It is the result of merging two previous DHHS projects: The AIDS Clinical Trials Information Service (ACTIS) and the HIV/AIDS Treatment Information Service (ATIS).
AIDSinfo is a central resource for current information on federally and privately funded clinical trials for AIDS patients and others infected with HIV.
As the main dissemination point for federally approved HIV treatment and prevention guidelines, AIDSinfo provides information about the current treatment regimens for HIV infection and AIDS-related illnesses, including the prevention of HIV transmission from occupational exposure and mother-to-child transmission during pregnancy.
HIV/AIDS patients, their families and friends, health care providers and researchers.
We underline the importance of the 'Guidelines' area where you can find some guidance documents for the medical management of HIV infection and other issues surrounding HIV infection. | Descrizione: | Sito ufficiale del Comitato Epac nato per aiutare e sostenere le persone colpite da epatite C | | Recensione: | EpaC ha approfondito la patologia causata dal virus dell'epatite C compresi i numerosi aspetti ad essa correlati.
In particolare il sito vuole aiutare a fare chiarezza, rispondere alle domande più comuni, aggiornare sulle ultime novità in fatto di terapie efficaci e farmaci in sperimentazione.
Il sito vuole essere anche un punto di aggregazione, discussione, dove sia possibile scambiarsi idee e messaggi.
EpaC viene periodicamente aggiornato con nuove rubriche ed ampliamenti di quelle esistenti.

L'Area Informativa contiene informazioni di pubblico interesse.
Abbiamo inoltre pubblicato i centri specializzati per la cura delle malattie epatiche, i centri trapianto di fegato, indirizzi utili, la legge 210/92 e successive modificazioni.
L’area informativa è completata dalla sezione delle news, l’area riservata ai medici e personale sanitario (che contiene i moduli di iscrizione per ricevere le nostre informative) e dalla sezione riservata ai nostri sostenitori.
Questa sezione contiene 6 archivi nei quali è pubblicata un mole imponente di materiale: basti pensare che l’archivio della documentazione scientifica contiene oltre 750 documenti scientifici tradotti in Italiano e attraverso il motore di ricerca si possono fare ricerche di approfondimento su tematiche selezionate.
Sono inoltre pubblicate le recenti linee guida per il trattamento dei pazienti infetti da epatite C e numerosi altri documenti di estremo interesse o notizie importanti come la rassegna degli ultimi farmaci in sperimentazione.
L’Area Sostenitori è dedicata a tutti coloro che hanno contribuito alle attività del Comitato, ed è stata ideata come forma di ringraziamento per il loro gesto. Per entrare in quest’area è necessaria una password, fornita dal Comitato EpaC.
Il Comitato Epac è una sezione che illustra le finalità del Comitato, i risultati ottenuti in questi anni, come poterci aiutare, gli strumenti informativi con i quali facciamo quotidianamente la nostra opera di educazione, divulgazione ed informazione in tante città Italiane.
Per chi non ci conosce è la sezione che fornisce risposte alle domande di chi entra nel sito per la prima volta, ma anche indicazioni su come contattarci.
